UniAgric — three paths, one platform

UniAgric connects Zambian agriculture students, farmers and agribusinesses. It links university chapters, a verified marketplace and expert knowledge — from university plots to provincial markets. Currently in deployment.

01

The problem

Zambian agriculture runs on fragmented markets, informal trading and disconnected knowledge. Students learn in isolation from commercial farming. Farmers struggle to reach verified buyers. Agribusinesses lack reliable supply and data. Everyone is working hard — but not together.

01

Fragmented markets

Produce, inputs and livestock are traded through informal channels. Buyers cannot verify sellers, sellers cannot reach buyers at scale, and prices vary wildly with no shared reference.

02

Students disconnected from commerce

Agriculture students learn theory on university plots, but graduate without commercial exposure — no access to real buyers, real supply chains or real pricing pressure.

03

Knowledge isn't reaching the field

Expert agronomic knowledge — from universities, extension officers, vets and agronomists — is hard to access for the people who need it most: farmers in the field.

02

What UniAgric does

Three paths, one platform. Each works on its own, but together they create a connected ecosystem — from university plot to provincial market.

Marketplace

Verified produce marketplace

Sellers list produce, inputs and services with verified identity. Buyers browse, compare and contact — with a shared reference for pricing and availability across regions.
